The families meet
The first easy meal the two families share. Not bound by the form a yuino takes — you enjoy the food and get to know one another. We greet you with sakura tea and dress the table with flowers.

The betrothal
The formal rite, kept as Japanese wedding tradition asks. The betrothal gifts are displayed in the tokonoma and the nakai helps the ceremony along. We can supply the yuino set as well (noshi, dried squid, kombu, katsuobushi, tomoshiraga, suehiro and a yanagi-daru cask).

Call us or use the form, and tell us the date you have in mind, the number of guests, and which occasion it is (kao-awase, yuino or ohirome).

Planning
Seating, menu, staging, the placing of the betrothal gifts — your planner takes you through all of it. You are welcome to come and see the house.

On the day
We receive each family separately and show them to the room when the moment is right. The nakai keeps the proceedings moving.

Seeing you off
After the photographs we see you to the entrance. We also help hand out the gifts and keepsakes.
Frequently asked
FREQUENTLY ASKEDWhat is the minimum number of guests?
Kao-awase from four guests, the announcement dinner from ten. We also have halls that take up to a hundred and twenty.
Can you advise on the date?
Yes — tell us if you want a taian or tomobiki day and we will work with it. Popular dates go early, so please book well ahead.
May we bring our own yuino gifts?
Yes. We can take them in beforehand, and the nakai will help arrange them in the tokonoma. Jisaku also supplies yuino sets.
Can we choose the seating style?
Three kinds: sunken kotatsu (tatami with a well for your legs), traditional tatami, and table and chairs. We will suggest what suits older guests best.
Can you arrange a photographer?
We arrange a professional photographer (from ¥55,000, from 30 minutes). The garden and the tatami rooms make a fine setting for the family group portrait. Delivered as data.
Is there a waiting room?
Yes, we can arrange one. A private-room charge applies even when the room is used only as a waiting room.
Is there parking?
We have no parking of our own.
Please use one of the paid car parks or coin-operated car parks nearby.
You are welcome to be dropped off and picked up at the entrance.Is there a cancellation charge?
As a rule, cancellations are free of charge until 16:00 the day before. However, the terms differ depending on the course you choose and the number of guests, so we will give you the details separately.
