Tsukiji Jisaku

One evening,
all of Japan in it

A Meiji-era zaibatsu villa, a 2,600㎡ garden, and a hundred-mat hall.
No other ryotei in central Tokyo can receive 120 guests in a genuine sukiya setting.
Our mizutaki, dietary requirements handled properly, a nakai attending each room,
and Japanese culture in its variety — geisha, the way of tea and more.
Jisaku weaves the real Japan, which no hotel banquet can reproduce, into a single evening.

Three things this unique venue offers

Three Values
Why Tsukiji Jisaku as a Unique Venue

An evening only
Tsukiji Jisaku can give

  • 一Authenticity & Scale

    A former zaibatsu villa
    seating up to 120

A sukiya house grown out of the Meiji-era Iwasaki villa, with a 2,600㎡ garden. That authenticity is kept intact, yet the hundred-mat hall under its Yakusugi cedar ceiling seats up to 120 at round tables. A rare ryotei that holds both heritage feeling and full banquet capability in one place.

  • 二Culinary Diplomacy

    Our mizutaki, and food
    that leaves nobody out

Mizutaki taught to a single heir, tempura fried at your table, a sushi counter or a kagami-biraki performed live. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy needs are met individually, so nobody in a multinational party is left out.

  • 三Hospitality & Innovation

    A nakai's attention,
    and light and sound

One nakai per room, reading even the pauses in the conversation. And since our ninety-fifth year, Sumiike — a digital work of light and sound over the pond and its koi — greets guests at the entrance, so the evening surprises from the moment they arrive.

Cultural Experiences

We solve overseas guests' concerns
before they arise

Concerns & Solutions

Dietary Requirements — can you handle a multinational party's restrictions?

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergies are handled individually. Send us the guest list in advance and we design the menu person by person. Menus in English are available.

Language Support — can everything be done in English, including on the night?

A dedicated English-speaking coordinator handles it end to end: enquiry, quotation, site visit and running the day.

Logistics — coach access and transfers from the hotel?

Several coaches can pull up at the door (please confirm in advance). Ten minutes by taxi from Tokyo Station, five from Ginza. We can arrange shuttles from the main international hotels.

Pre-function Space — where do we hold the welcome cocktail?

A welcome cocktail in a room facing the 2,600㎡ garden, or a standing reception along the corridor. The garden in season makes the best pre-function space there is.

Security & Privacy — what about security for VIP guests?

With exclusive use, the whole site becomes genuinely private. Your party never crosses paths with anyone else, and we accommodate advance recces by protection officers. We have hosted embassy receptions.

Sustainability — what are you doing about it?

Carrying a living tradition for ninety-five years is itself a sustainable practice. We use local ingredients actively, work to reduce food waste, and stay connected to the community around us.

How it comes together

Planning Flow
  • 一 Step 01

    Brief and site visit

We ask about the purpose, scale, budget and what you want, then show you the venue. Three-way meetings with your DMC or PCO are welcome, and we work in English.

  • 二 Step 02

    Planning and quotation

Layout, food, cultural programme, timings and equipment positions all designed. A ballpark within 48 hours; a formal quotation within a week of the meeting.

  • 三 Step 03

    Set-up and rehearsal

Load-in the day before, set-up and rehearsal all supported. Lighting, sound and the cultural programme's movements are checked, along with a final pass over the guest list and its dietary notes.

  • 四 Step 04

    The night, and the wrap

Dedicated staff support the event on the day — languages, dietary management and timekeeping. Wrap and settlement are handled together.
