Careers
Tsukiji Jisaku, a ryotei of more than ninety years
Would you like to work with us, in a place where the older, better Japan can still be felt?
We help colour the days that matter — weddings, dinners, birthday celebrations, corporate events, and the welcome of guests from overseas.
A word from our representative
We are looking for people to walk with us towards our hundredth year
Since it was founded, Jisaku has been carried by a great many guests.
The road, however, has been anything but smooth.
After the house was brought into being by our founder, Jisaku Honda, the Pacific War turned it into a dormitory for the employees of the Ishikawajima shipyard; it was rebuilt in the years that followed, and so it stands today. Through every turn of the economy, the thought that Jisaku Honda — himself a cook — never let go of, "let us give people pleasure through food", is the thought we want this company to keep handing on to the next generation.
Today we are fortunate in guests from abroad as well as at home, and we go on as a ryotei that keeps its traditional techniques and ways of thinking while refusing to be bound by form — one that can answer a wide range of requests flexibly, in the cooking, the service and the staging of an occasion.
"We are looking for people to build, with us, a ryotei that can reach its hundredth year — and its two hundredth."
