Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms set out the conditions on which the special kaiseki vouchers (hereafter "special dining vouchers") handled by Tsukiji Jisaku and Ginza Jisaku (hereafter "our restaurants") are traded. A person holding a special dining voucher (hereafter "the customer") transacts with us on the basis of these terms.
Article 2 (When a special dining voucher may be used)
- The customer may use a special dining voucher to pay for products purchased or services received at our restaurants. This does not extend to products or services that our restaurants designate as ineligible.
- The restaurants covered may change — for example when a new one begins to accept the vouchers, or when one ceases to do so.
Article 3 (When a special dining voucher may not be used, 1)
A special dining voucher may not be used in any of the following cases.
- Where it has been forged or altered
- Where it has been obtained improperly, or where we know or suspect that it has been
- Where damage or soiling makes the number impossible to read
Article 4 (When a special dining voucher may not be used, 2)
- Where a petition has been filed for the commencement of bankruptcy, civil rehabilitation, corporate reorganisation or special liquidation proceedings in respect of one of our restaurants; where a suspension of transactions has been imposed by a clearing house; where a disaster or similar event makes it difficult to continue trading; where an obligation under the handling agreement has been breached; or where creditworthiness has fallen markedly — the voucher may not be usable.
- Where it becomes impossible for a restaurant to verify whether a voucher is genuine, or where any other legitimate cause arises that impedes continued acceptance, acceptance of the vouchers may be suspended temporarily.
Article 5 (Damaged vouchers)
- Even where a special dining voucher is soiled or damaged, it will not be reissued.
- The issuer bears no responsibility for loss arising from theft, loss or destruction.
Article 6 (Relationship with each restaurant)
Where a customer has used a special dining voucher at one of our restaurants, matters such as the return or exchange of products and any defects are to be resolved between the customer and the restaurant at which the voucher was used.
Article 7 (No refunds)
Special dining vouchers cannot be returned or refunded.
