Tsukiji Jisaku

A new beginning,
celebrated at a ryotei table

CAREER MILESTONE — CELEBRATION DINNER
ABOUT CELEBRATION

A ryotei as the place for a first job or a promotion

A job offer accepted, a working life begun, a promotion or a move up — a meal at a ryotei with family or colleagues to mark a milestone in a working life.

Thanks that are hard to say elsewhere can be said in a quiet private room. A room with standing gives the words their weight.

For a family celebration or a gathering from work

A first-job celebration with the family alone, or a promotion with senior colleagues invited: for either, we have a room with the right dignity and a planner to keep the proceedings moving. We can advise on seating, and can invoice a company, with a qualified invoice.

The first-job and promotion plan

PLAN DETAILS

A gift for the occasion

  • A whole celebration sea bream, head and tail on (one)
  • A drink for the toast (aperitif) for everyone
  • A dessert plate

To mark a new beginning at work, we make a present of a celebration sea bream with head and tail on, and a drink for the toast for everyone at the table. May the while be a warm one.

CELEBRATION PLAN

¥30,000(tax incl., per guest)

  • The gift
  • Consumption tax

A proper kaiseki course of the season, with the handsome dishes a celebration calls for. To mark the new beginning we include one whole celebration sea bream, head and tail on, and a drink for the toast for everyone at the table. With thanks and good wishes, celebrate as long as you like.

COURSE MENU

Celebration kaiseki

Opener|Celebration appetiser|Clear soup|Sashimi (three kinds, incl. kuruma prawn)|Simmered dish|Grilled dish|Chawanmushi|Main dish (kuroge wagyu)|Red miso soup|Sekihan|Pickles|Fruit

ADD-ON

Add our mizutaki

¥5,500/per guest (tax incl.)

Why not share our mizutaki, the dish Jisaku has been loved for since it opened, at the celebration table as well?

"If more than one person makes it, the taste changes" — so it is entrusted to a single cook, and it became the dish the house is known for. Chicken and water, nothing else. The technique was worked out to draw the bird's own quality forward, and it uses the whole chicken, head to feet, with nothing wasted.

Mizutaki (Awa-odori chicken), onion, house ponzu, momiji-oroshi, spring onion

MODIFIED COURSE

Opener|Celebration appetiser|Clear soup|Sashimi (three kinds, incl. kuruma prawn)|Simmered dish|Grilled dish|Our mizutaki|Chawanmushi|Main dish (kuroge wagyu)|Red miso soup and mizutaki zosui|Pickles|Fruit

※ The plan price does not include drinks or the service charge (15% at lunch, 20% at dinner). These are charged separately.

Private rooms, with nobody to think about

PRIVATE ROOMS
  • 一Private Rooms

    A private room,
the space kept to your family

Every room here is private, so a gathering with a baby or small children, a guest in a wheelchair, or a large and lively party is all equally at ease, with nobody to hold back for.

  • 二Garden View

    A warm celebration
    looking out on the garden

With the garden spread out beyond the window, enjoy a warm celebration with nobody but the family. A nakai is assigned to each room to look after you.

What to know about these celebrations

CELEBRATION GUIDE

When to hold it, and what people give

A first-job celebration is usually held between the job offer and the first day at work. For a family meal, the customary gift of money is around ¥30,000–¥50,000 from parents and ¥30,000–¥100,000 from grandparents. Many people treat the meal at the ryotei as the gift in itself.

Seating and running order for a promotion

At a promotion dinner the guest of honour takes the seat of honour. We are glad to advise on the toast, the presentation of flowers and the rest of the running order. A nakai attends the room, so leave the serving and the drinks to us.

Company use and receipts

Receipts in a company name, and qualified invoices, are both available. A department name or a particular addressee can be specified. Payment can be made in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer.
