SHICHI-GO-SAN — CHILDREN'S MILESTONES
ABOUT SHICHI-GO-SAN

A shichi-go-san a cut above, celebrated as a family

The child in their finery, the blessing, the photographs, and then a meal with the family. A shichi-go-san plan with all the care a ryotei can give, so that the day can be taken slowly and made to count.

Besides the food of a proper ryotei, the tatami room means children are safe to move about and older guests can settle comfortably.

Only at Jisaku, which has its own shrine

The shrine inside the house makes a blessing for your family alone possible. There are no crowds and no waiting, so a small child is never kept standing about — which is a relief in itself.

The shichi-go-san and sekku plan

PLAN DETAILS
  • A whole celebration sea bream, head and tail on (one)
  • Children's dish※ (for one)

For a shichi-go-san we prepare an auspicious sea bream with its head and tail on, as the occasion deserves. The child has a special children's dish of their own.

※ One serving per table, cooked to suit the child's age.

If you book the blessing, we make a present of chitose-ame.

SHICHI-GO-SAN PLAN

¥25,000(tax incl., per guest)

  • Celebration kaiseki
  • Room charge
  • The gift
  • Consumption tax

A proper kaiseki course of the season, with the plump, auspicious dishes a celebration calls for, and the celebration sea bream that carries the wish for the child's healthy growth. For the child we cook a special children's dish. May the whole family enjoy a celebration full of smiles.

This plan can also be used for other children's occasions besides shichi-go-san (a half coming-of-age at ten, juusan-mairi and so on).

COURSE MENU

Celebration kaiseki

Opener|Celebration appetiser|Clear soup|Sashimi (three kinds, incl. kuruma prawn)|Simmered dish|Grilled dish|Chawanmushi|Main dish (kuroge wagyu)|Red miso soup|Sekihan|Pickles|Fruit

ADD-ON

Add our mizutaki

¥5,500/per guest (tax incl.)

Why not share our mizutaki, the dish Jisaku has been loved for since it opened, at the celebration table as well?

"If more than one person makes it, the taste changes" — so it is entrusted to a single cook, and it became the dish the house is known for. Chicken and water, nothing else. The technique was worked out to draw the bird's own quality forward, and it uses the whole chicken, head to feet, with nothing wasted.

Mizutaki (Awa-odori chicken), onion, house ponzu, momiji-oroshi, spring onion

MODIFIED COURSE

The course with mizutaki added

Opener|Celebration appetiser|Clear soup|Sashimi (three kinds, incl. kuruma prawn)|Simmered dish|Grilled dish|Our mizutaki|Chawanmushi|Main dish (kuroge wagyu)|Red miso soup and mizutaki zosui|Pickles|Fruit

※ The plan price does not include drinks or the service charge (15% at lunch, 20% at dinner). These are charged separately.

The big day, spent with the family

YOUR FAMILY'S SPECIAL DAY

We support the whole of your child's important day, with the attention only a ryotei gives.

01

Celebration kaiseki

A proper celebration kaiseki, as only a ryotei makes it, built on auspicious ingredients. We can cook around allergies, so please do tell us.

02

Children's menu

From a small child of about three to primary school age, we have a menu for each. Portions and contents are worked out so that they can enjoy the meal alongside the adults.

03

Fine photographs, rain or not

Tsukiji Jisaku is a favourite for pre-wedding shoots and photo weddings: the pond, the garden and the shrine give you places to photograph that carry the beauty of each season, and rain need not spoil it. There is also an option in which a photographer stays with you for thirty minutes, catching natural expressions, and the images are handed over as data.

04

A blessing at the shrine here

At a large shrine the blessing is usually given to several families at once. At Tsukiji Jisaku the shrine is yours alone. In a space kept to your family you can take the blessing calmly, without worrying about how the child is holding up.

05

Dressing and hair and make-up on site

With the hire and hair and make-up options, you can be dressed and made ready inside the house, which means less moving about for a small child and a quicker start. Keeping the burden off a small child, so that the day stays enjoyable, matters as much as anything to a good memory.

Private rooms

PRIVATE ROOMS
  • 一Private Rooms

    A private room,
the space kept to your family

Every room here is private, so a gathering with a baby or small children, a guest in a wheelchair, or a large and lively party is all equally at ease. Choose between sunken kotatsu, tatami, and Japanese chairs at a table. We cannot promise a particular room, but do tell us the seating style you would like. A nakai is assigned to each room to look after you.

  • 二Dedicated Staff

    A nakai of your own
    keeps the day moving

When to raise the toast, how the courses follow one another, when to take the photographs — an experienced nakai looks after all of it.
