Going by Boat! Long-established ryotei restaurants in Tsukiji, Tokyo

There are still unknown ways to play in Tokyo.

When you welcome your loved ones to Tokyo, invite friends from overseas, or want to have a different experience with the usual members of your group, what kind of experience would make them happy? How about a surprise at a ryotei restaurant on a boat?

Whether you are a sightseer or a business person during the day.

Water buses, water cabs, and houseboats reserved for charter will pick you up at nearby water bus stops such as "Ryogoku Azumabashi" and "Asakusa Nitenmon", which are within walking distance from sightseeing spots. For a gathering after work, you can also board a boat from "Hamarikyu" or "Odaiba Kaihin Koen", etc., which are just a short distance from Shimbashi. (*Pre-booking is required.)

[Evening boarding, Tokyo Bay sightseeing].

After boarding the boat, you will have a chance to not only move around, but also make excursions, which will last from 30 to 60 minutes. Enjoy the seasonal changes in the lighting of the Sky Tree, the view of the Rainbow Bridge from below, the glittering night view of Tokyo from Daiba, and other sights of Tokyo that are a little different from what you see every day.

After the excursion, go directly to the boat landing "Akashi-cho, in front of St. Luke's Garden," and you will soon be in front of Tsukiji Jisaku.

Once you pass through the gate, you will find yourself in a different world that you would not expect to find in the middle of Tokyo. After walking along the stone pavement, you will leave your shoes at the footwear attendant's desk and be escorted to your private room by a kimono-clad staff member. The rooms range from small rooms for two people to large halls for up to 120 people, so you can choose the room that best suits your needs. We are also happy to offer a sunken kotatsu or chair seating.

From the moment you step into the hallway leading to your room, to the Nishikigoi swimming gracefully in the garden, to the many rare furnishings, you will feel Japanese culture itself from the moment you step into your room.

The specialty "mizutaki" is the traditional taste of mizutaki, which is preserved by only one mizutaki keeper. The unforgettable taste has many fans, and is served as the main course of our seasonal kaiseki course. Tsukiji is the kitchen of Tokyo, and we offer a variety of kaiseki courses featuring fresh ingredients that we purchase every day.The "Ozashiki Tempura Course."Our popular courses include sukiyaki and shabu-shabu courses of specially selected Japanese beef, which are prepared in front of your eyes by a waiter so that you can leave the cooking to us with peace of mind.

The charm of a ryotei restaurant is that it allows you to enjoy your meal and have even more fun. You can experience a variety of traditional performing arts right before your eyes, such as Shinnai nagashi (shamisen) performances, dances by geiko, geiko games, the traditional aidaeba geisha (there are only four of them in Japan), kagura (Shinto music and dance), shigin (recitation of poetry), and more. (Please consult with us in advance).

Why don't you surprise your guests with a variety of ways to have fun and prepare an unusual performance? We will be happy to offer you other suggestions as well.

The hospitality and charm of a ryotei restaurant may not be apparent until you experience it. A dedicated waiter will be assigned to each private room according to the number of guests, and will not only bring the food, but also read between the lines, take over beverages, and sometimes even talk to the guests and show them around the garden. We hope that you will feel the attentiveness and care of our waitstaff, who can be a strong ally of the organizer.
