Tsukiji Jisaku, a ryotei restaurant established over 90 years ago
Ginza Jisaku" celebrates its 60th anniversary

Would you like to work with us in a place where you can feel the good old Japanese style?

Weddings, dinners, birthday celebrations and corporate events,
We help make your special day more colorful by handling inbound guests.

Greetings from the Representative

Seeking staff to continue working with us toward our 100th year in business.

Since its establishment, Jisaku has been supported by many customers.

However, the path has not been smooth sailing.

After being founded by Jisaku Honda, the company was transformed into a dormitory for employees of Ishikawajima Shipbuilding during the Pacific War, and then underwent a period of reconstruction. We hope to be a corporate organization that will pass on to the next generation the desire to "entertain people through food" that Jisaku Honda, who was also a chef, never forgot even while confronting the various waves of the economy. Today, we are blessed with guests not only from Japan but also from overseas, and we continue to grow as a ryotei that can flexibly respond to many requests, while preserving traditional techniques and ideas in food, service, and venue production. We are proud of our history and traditions, but we are also proud of our ability to continue to serve our customers for many years to come as a ryotei with a modern spice that does not go against the ever-changing trends of the times or people's values. We are looking forward to meeting staff who can deliver surprises, excitement, and a lot of joy to all of our customers.

We do not want people who value the work environment or status, or who are "interested in nothing but what they want to do. We sincerely welcome people who can learn from their mistakes and improve further, people who have a desire to explore a new self, people who find it rewarding to discover new ways to shine, and people who can move forward together as a team, regardless of gender or age.

We are looking for people who can work together to create a ryotei restaurant that will be in business for 100 years and even 200 years.

K.S.: Tsukiji Jisaku cooking

Joined the company in 2011

Graduated from Tsuji Culinary Institute

I first heard about Jisaku from a cooking magazine. When I saw the picture of the restaurant and learned that there was a wonderful ryotei restaurant with a garden in Tokyo, I became interested in it.

I have been doing this for more than 10 years and have done everything in one way or another, but the more I do it, the more I realize how immature my skills are and how I want to do it better, and I have many things to think about because I have been doing this for more than 10 years. My current goal is to be able to teach junior staff well. I used to think only about my own work and skills, so I feel that it is really difficult to treat and teach junior staff.

I believe that nurturing junior staff members is also a way to preserve the tradition of Japanese cuisine and to help them grow as individuals.

As I was aiming to become a wedding planner in the future, I was considering other wedding planning companies such as specialized wedding halls and guesthouses, but the most important reason for my decision was that I was attracted by the at-home atmosphere of weddings. When I was a student, I worked at a specialized wedding hall as a company internship, and while there were many weddings per day, I was attracted to the fact that Jisaku cherishes each and every couple.

During my time in customer service, I was able to work not only with customers who were having weddings, but also with customers with whom I would not have had contact unless I worked at Jisaku, from corporate entertainment to private dinners and celebratory occasions. I feel that this is a very rewarding job, both in the fact that I can learn from many different situations and in the joy I feel when a customer is happy and says "thank you" after the successful completion of a table that I was in charge of.

Since I started working as a sales and wedding planner, I feel that the best thing about my job is that I get to be closely involved with my clients because we spend a long time working together to create a single wedding. I feel that this is a very rewarding job, although there is a sense of pressure and tension because it is a once-in-a-lifetime wedding, and mistakes are not tolerated. In addition to weddings, my day-to-day work in the sales department includes handling reservation calls and other tasks that are sent to each department as the contact point for the wedding planning process. I would like to continue to be a planner who can make our clients feel happy that they had a wedding and create a day that will energize them in the future.

I will do my best to sincerely deal with customers and to further grow myself.

I became interested in the restaurant "Jisaku" after my teacher recommended it to me as a Japanese restaurant where customers are served in kimonos. I applied for the job because I thought the fact that one staff member is assigned exclusively to each customer and is in charge from the time they arrive to the time they leave the restaurant, which allows me to spend more time with them, was also a big attraction. I find it rewarding when I explain about the food and the restaurant, and when I see that the customer is truly surprised or impressed. I believe that my ability to elicit such reactions means that I was able to successfully introduce the restaurant's charms, so it is rewarding for me to know that customers are glad they came to Jisaku.

Recently, we have been receiving an increasing number of customers from overseas, and we are required to serve them in English instead of Japanese. Therefore, I would like to study English more than ever so that I can provide the same kind of service in English as I do when using Japanese.
