Retirement and golden wedding anniversary celebrations

What is "Celebration of Longevity"?
Milestone ages for celebrating longevity have names such as kanreki (60th birthday), koki (70th birthday), and kiju (77th birthday). Originally, they were celebrated in terms of counting years, but nowadays they are increasingly celebrated in terms of full age.
